Magpies

Welcome to Magpies Class

We have been producing some art work by using fruit printing.

Magpies have been looking at the changes around the school like leaves changing colour and dropping off our tree, the weather getting colder and summer fruit disappearing from the shops.

We have been learning about the seasons.

Magpies have been having fun using their senses in science lessons. We tried to guess the smells in in different pots. We thought it was difficult because we couldn’t see what was inside. We enjoyed trying diffeent flavours of crisps. Salt and vinegar crisps were our favourites!

Making Vehicles

As part of our work on Transport,  we all designed and made vehicles. We glued boxes together and attached wheels and axles to the base. Then we painted them. All our vehicles look different.

Everyone had a great time rehearsing and singing the songs which helped to tell the story. Dressing up was fun and all the costumes looked superb! [...]
